Description:
This international development agency is recruiting an experienced Executive Assistant to provide full secretarial and office support to the Chief Executive Officer, acting as the first point of contact for their office. The successful candidate will also co-ordinate the annual business planning process and manage and develop internal office communications.
The role:
• To provide comprehensive and secretarial support to the Chief Executive and line-manager, including diary management
• Acting as the first point of contact for the Chief Executive for many high value stakeholders, maintaining exemplary customer services at all times
• Managing the travel budget, negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best rate
• Producing presentations, reports and briefings for the Chief Executive
• To service the Board of Trustees, preparing and circulating agendas, organising special events and overseeing travel arranagements for all staff
Essential skills, qualifications and experience:
• Previous experience of working as a PA or EA to Director Level
• Previous experience of working with high-profile and influential people within the public sector
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills both written and verbally
• Ability to converse professionally across all levels of staff
• Experience of working to deadlines and targets whilst managing a wide and varied workload
Salary and Benefits:
