Description:
This national charity is looking for a Community Legacy Manager with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to increase the number and value of legacies left in its favour.
The role:
• To plan, budget, lead and manage all aspects of legacy fundraising
• To support the fundraising manager and legacy marketing manager in the development of a fully effective fundraising strategy
• To build relationships with all legacy prospects
• Establish and manage relationships with key internal influences, engaging staff and volunteers at all levels
• To provide the Fundraising Manager with comprehensive monthly reporting on event management activity
• To ensure accurate maintenance of legacy lead file data through regular and accurate updates in response to activity
• To attend community fundraising meetings, events and training courses
Essential skills, qualifications and experience:
• Experience in direct marketing/fundraising
• Experience of giving presentations and public speaking
• Experience of cross-team working
• Experience of preparing and monitoring plans and budgets
• Strong IT and database skills
